While doing a bird survey of the South Dade Wetlands (fka Model Lands), I stumbled upon a Black-billed Cuckoo .2 miles south of 344 St (Palm Dr.) on SW 137 Ave (Tallahassee Rd).

I am a strong believer in the Dome Theory. Did you get any Pictures?
Bird caught me by surprise and I didn't get a shot initially. I then played the call and the bird flew closer into a tree just behind another smaller tree, but I never got a clear shot at it. I wasn't expecting a Black-billed Cuckoo, especially out there in the boonies! Note to self: never let down your guard when birding!
