Strong NE winds are pushing shearwaters, gannets and jaegers close to shore, but scope is still needed for good ID. Just had a Great Shearwater at 9:35 AM.

NE @ 32 kts gusting to 36 at Fowey. Want to go fishing?
Got queasy just watching the few boats out there. Steady stream of jaegers and gannets continues at 11:15 but shearwater action died. One flock had 8 Pomarine Jaegers and several young gannets are still on the bay.
